Recently, it has come to attention that giraffes, the iconic African animal that lures thousands to zoos and safaris every year, may not be real. The following information comes form Colin Powerell's website which raises very curious points, questioning the giraffes existence and their purpose here on Earth.
1. Evolution Question
The first point raised by Colin involves the evolution of giraffes. Assuming they developed from humble microscopic organisms here on Earth, would there not be an 'awkward' evolutionary state where the giraffe was not tall enough to reach the leaves on the trees, but too tall to easily access resources on the ground.
2. Antenna Question
He also raises the very worthwhile questions about their horns. Are they really horns? What purpose do they serve? Could they perhaps be a method of extraterrestrial communication? As horns, they don't appear to be all that effective. They are neither long, nor sharp and would be totally useful as a defence mechanism. Antennas they could be.
3. Birthing Question
A female giraffe gives birth to its young standing upright whilst the embryonic sack if forced out and the impact on the ground several feet below bursts it open, clears the young's airways and even starts its heart. This is a very obscure method of birthing that even looks odd compared to some of the other weird and wonderful creatures on Earth. What sort of creature, in its first moments of life, suffers an experience this traumatic and comes off scot-free?!
4. Survival Question
This also leads onto the survival question of the giraffe. How does the birth, as describes above, take place without triggering the senses of the keen smelling and sprinting cheetahs and hyenas that are sure to take fancy to an infant giraffe? According to the information provided by Colin as well, the giraffe's other method of defence (other then its 'horns') is its ability to run at around 30 km per hour. How does it have any chance at all of escaping the clutches of Africa's fierce predators without having some sort of secret. alien weapon?
Colin Powerell has provided solid reasoning as to why we should all have concerns about the existence of giraffes. Where do they actually come from? What do they want with Earth? Is this some sort of government conspiracy or are the giraffes controlling the government?
Only one thing is sure, we should all be skeptical of the giraffes currently occupying our planet.
